Joe Houde, CEO
Joe Houde is the founder of Brass Ring Training. He has
been facilitating and designing experiential learning since 1990.
Originally working in the non-profit and academic setting, he began
working with corporate groups in 1996. He was part of the core
methodologies team at Duke Corporate Education until the fall of 2001. He
has a Masters of Education in Training and Development and is pursuing his doctorate in Adult Learning. He currently balances researching innovative
training practices and designing educational experiences for top corporations.
Joe's researchon Analogically Situated Experiences is published in Academy of Management Learning and Education's special issue in the Fall of 2007. Other research includes the interaction of formal training, apprenticeship, action learning and informal training systems in organizations.
